Just thought that I'd pop by and say hello..........again.
I've got a plan for the new year, I'm thinking of building a trike, selling it and giving the proceeds to Turner Ward (Oncology) at Torbay hospital. They looked after Flik really well when she was in Hospital last year.

I'd like to do a Virago XV535 but they seem to cost a fortune these days
So..............can anyone suggest an alternative shaft drive bike that won't cost me the earth, and would look nice when it's done.

I'm also going to be looking for donations of parts. I know that this is a big ask but any help/parts would be gratefully received.
Thanks
K

Brilliant idea!

GT550 or GT750 make a good trike, shaft drive etc.

GT550 or 750 is a good basis, prices can be high for donors but sometimes cheap ones do come through. Try not to get an ex despatch bike as that`ll be thrashed, despatch riders like them coz they`re cheap on parts (relatively speaking). Best of luck with it and if we`ve got anything here to help you`re welcome to it.  Grin Grin Grin Grin
