Yup, a Honda CX500 bike engine. Definitely a one off -& so are his cars.

Talking of bikes, there was a contingent of classic sprint bikes outside the bar. Not just for show though. Despite the wet track, these guys were really going for it when the lights changed on the startline.

Our mate Ian of Wyliez Autos in Berkshire built this & christened it The Acme Rocket. Now sold, the new owner brought it along with new paint, a bonnet, mudguards & a roof.

I used to have a mate who was a press photographer. He used to tell me, remember, you can't photograph sound. What sounds awesome may not look it when you see the pic.
