I'm currently building a gl1200 goldwing trike I've chosen to do a bolt on conversion using a sierra diff with homemade wishbones and uprights
this is the progress so far

Pete i was looking at using a BMW diff
but got a sierra one at the right price   Grin
TBone i didn't cut all them fiddle bits n bobs i bought a flap pack kit of flea bay all i had to do was make a jig to the spec in the "Haynes build your own  sports car manual " and weld it all together
i will list all the parts I've used and where to get them later in the build  Wink

i needed to turn 2 bushes to sit where the swing arm bolts used to go so i could bolt the axle supports to the frame of the bike

i then used some 6mm id  CDS tube to come from the back of the bushes i had made

welded a bush on the end of one and a flat bar of the other that will allow room for the drive shaft to turn without it fouling up

my intention is to weld these to the frame ive made round the diff
and bolt the other end (bush and flat bar) to the old swing arm points on the bike
