Oh to be a competitor!!!!!

I'm just one of the many spectators, but get there before the start and wander round the paddock.
Dslam and I have a couple of mates who've entered their pre 1915 bikes, so we have a natter etc, and then watch the first of the many set off before following the route.

How did it goTony?
I couldn't go (bad cold and Babysitting) but I was thinking of them. Hope it didn't rain during the event as I have seen before, how hard it is for the competitors even without bad weather to contend with as well.
Hope you have some photos for us.
