yep terry that ,was,, it a cab over engine ford tried phoning  ,tino, (martin) earlier but one phone = (landline i believe)was or seemed dead
the mobile number just kept ringing   so i carried on doing a bit more research and i believe the truck was for sale on rods and sods and ebay at the end of last year i,m led to believe it sold for around 11 or 12 grand  Shocked

shame but to be realistic probably outa my price range  Sad

he had the chevy on evil bay as you know  but said if he didnt get 6k on there he,d have a deal with me,,

now he,s saying its got be worth alot more  Shocked Shocked

the 6k was going to stretch me at the mo as i,m having trouble gettin some one to ,,pay up,, for what they have had from ,,wonderland,,

 now i,m gettin well stressed and totally pi##ed of with everything

The rodding scene is swamped with Chevy trucks at the moment, there's some real nice ones out there, but on the same vein, there's some friggin horrors..... My mate gave 6k for a fifty-six and it's shagged.
I'm struggling to understand how they're still demanding up to 30k? when there's loads of real nice alternatives,, i.e. late forties/early fifties Studebakers, Internationals etc etc..

Before i got the gasser i was looking at a 49 Stude pick-up that needed some graft, it really was piss cheap, and it was way prettier than a Chevy
