that photo was taken before a lot of work was done the guy emailed me some more recent upto date photo,s and a fair bit of dosh has been spent but it still needs some work and the correct ,,or correct period,, crane or jib finding..

i would consider a cheaper basic project  even a ,duall, wheeler  but cant just spot anything suitable     i think thers more of this type of thing in the south of our country
not many up here ,,

Mike, give Tino, of Tino's Rod & Kustom a ring. Very nice guy, specialising in engine builds, roll cages & suspension conversions.
He's got a yard full of gorgeous old motors behind his workshop. Last time we called in, he had a big ol' 50s/60s wrecker sat in there. Not sure what it was, but had it's original Yank sign writing & full lifting jib.
Ring him & say Manky & Taz sent you.  Wink

got both of them on watch  terry

the first one has a very high reserve and its origin isnt what he says it is so would probably end up on a Q plate

the second one,s only near derby but again its far from correct and has been sort of an abandoned project after some ,bodging

i,v been in contact with both sellers.

                        cheers anyway,,
