first car on the road (legally anyway) was an old Herald. Just loved the idea of climbing into the engine bay to do work on it. Grin Grin Grin Grin

My first husband and I had a Triumph Herald hardtop coupe in white and green - sweetest car I've ever driven!   Mind it was a bit of a surprise when the chassis outriggers rotted away!

I had a herald 12/60 softop for years.  Rebuilt her completely - welding in new floor pans and various body panel repairs also.  Loved her and was very sad when I swapped for a TR7.  Happy days !
