Realised today my passport has run out ,and we go to Spain next week! .............
After a lot of messing about Ive found out that to get priority passport application service I have to go to the 'local' passport office.My nearest is in London,but I figure it will be easier ,what with all the parking probs and traffic ,to go to Peterborough,and Ive duly booked an appointment(cant just turn up)for Saturday morning.
 So,a bit of a pain, but not really a problem ,just a run up from Braintree in the VW.....But....turns out that the vw mot has run out  ,so the only vehicle left is the Dutton Sierra! Ive got to go all the way up there at about 40mph! I'll take my AA card (Alcoholics Anonymous!) cos I reckon I'll need a drink when I get there! Will we make it there and back? Who knows!!

Woohoo!........a reprieve! I thought the vw mot had run out ...but now SWMBO has found the certificate ,it still has 3 weeks to run !

Up here we used to have to go to liverpool but we now have a nice new office in Durham
