I have tried every thing I know to get a the head off this engine . Its stuck on the front stud (as you look at the engine from the front) the left . I have tried heat, oil, force, hammers and foul language and still I cant shift it. anyone had the same problem ?

I once shifted a stubborn bike head by suspending the motor an inch or two off the floor on a rope tied around the unbolted head. After a couple of days it's own weight eased the head off.

Sorry, childish of me.
I have to agree with Toad, the last thing you wanna do is heat it, you may be lucky though........
You can soak the studs with vinegar, the white version, not brown and then use a metal plate to press the head upward. The key to it all is keeping it level.

here's a little tip, don't use a log splitter, it'll end in tears, I know !

I find a bit of penetrating fluid (not WD40) and a little time followed by some gentle persuasion usually did the trick.
