I gotta decide which one to get (xmas present from son!) Been looking at various types .  Seems to me the end mounted bit that fits on the valve is ok for car wheels ,but hard to fit onto bike valves ,as the discs are in the way. (needs a side mount one) So any tips/recommendations  appreciated ! Do you use one??

   we use one of these

  http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_394107_langId_-1_categoryId_165547

from Halfords, fairly slimline and consistently accurate when compared to our Morroso mechanical one. They seem to do a fair range now and one is listed as for bikes, seems to have a longer projection on the nose, might help

we buy those in batches of 5 as usually 2 will pack in within a month. i tend to use the old sliding type, as long as you don't let it rust will last a lifetime

I hate those digital ones, much easier to use the old sliding type!
