Got this review when I played an unannounced 20 min set at The Bulldog Bash last year.

Next up was an unannounced guest and it was in the form of one man and his mandolin, Stevie. Personally I did not know who Stevie was but the crowd knew him, as the reaction as he walked out onto the stage was one of surprise but joy. As he took centre stage in front of the black curtain he unleashed his raspy voice onto the crowd who stood appreciating every song.
With only a twenty minute set Stevie didn’t have long but in this time he proved to be the highlight of the weekend for many and everyone wished he played longer.

That's from the Rockbeast website at

The official Bulldog Bash forum is also on the site an' there is a thread for folks to suggest bands for this years Bash.

If any of you folks would like to mention that you wouldn't mind seein' a longer set from me there this time 'round I'd be most greatful thanx. I had such a blast there. It's not the way I would normally get gigs but it's what was asked for on the thread so I'm only doin' what some others are.

Many thanx.

Stevie.
