I was impressed, so they are going on the trike either as additional brake lights or fog lights not sure yet and I'm still waiting for a pair of Maltese Cross lights that I'm going to convert to LED and when i fit the box over the back axle I'll mount them in/on that.

And I love those lenses.

TP, I just happen to have a pair of Maltese Cross rear lights on the shelf in my lock-up if you want 'em. I was vaguely thinking of making table lamps from them. Yours for the cost of the postage if you want them.

Your lights are realy good and bright, Any chance on elaborating on what and how you changed them. How will they be wired into the lighting circuit? Also what extra dooda's do you need?
As they look like a likely candidate for the passing lights and indicators to me Grin
Thanks Gareth

The lamps where from Maplins and the lenses from an AY50 glued together with Araldite that's all.

You can only get Red LED clusters like this so indicators are not possible Fogs or Brakes only. I am converting aset of maltese cross stop and tails to led but that's easy as you just replace the lamp with the equivalent LED most are 380 lamps which you can get from

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Car-LED-Lighting

And they are CHEAP!

As for wiring stop and tails don't need any wiring changes, indicators need either load resistors or LED specific indicator units which are readily avaliable from many bike shops and Halfords. (There is no power saving with the load resistor option)
