Paddy and the Donkey

Paddy buys a donkey from a farmer for £100,and arranged to get it delivered the next day.
Next day the farmer arrives, I'm, sorry says the farmer,but the donkey died last night.
That's OK says Paddy,just give me back my money.
Sorry again,says the farmer,I spent it.
OK says Paddy,bring me the dead donkey.
What do you want with a dead Donkey?? says the farmer.
I'll raffle it and sell tickets,says Paddy.
You can't do that says the farmer.
Just watch ,says Paddy.
One month later the farmer meets Paddy,and asks how he got on with the raffle.
I sold 500 tickets at £2 each and made a profit of £898.
Didn't you get any complaints,says the farmer.
Only one,from the guy who won,so I gave him back his £2.
Paddy now works for a Bank.
