I've clocked 200 miles or so locally and got round to doing my furthest run in one hit including motorways ( M27) . 25 miles each way it it averaged a nice 45mpg, not bad with the DBR400 carbs on there and not yet looked at by me.

However it starting holding back a couple of times when I was on it a bit. Seems the gravity fed tank can't keep up with the quad carbs unless both petrol taps are open. Took a little while to figure out what was happening.

Definitely need a back rest fitting as I found myself hanging on  some of the time but the hardtail was fine. My mate who was following in his car said it looked like I was hitting lumps real hard but none of it was coming through to me

It's bigdog6s old trike , just putting my mark on it slowly but mainly just enjoying it. Won't be long til I've finished and I'll bung some pics up then.

My own trike build is holding at teh moment while I try to get the A pick up running correctly again.
