Don't know why, but I loved this model boat.

Maybe Andy, it's because he has a look of Dick Dastardly about him. Catch that Pigeon (the maritime version)!

Sorry I missed you Terry. It is always nice to see you. I was under the weather today so stayed in the car for Popham. I  got my scooter out at Dorking and had a good look around. I bought a lovely leather roll bag for £15 and a really nice Harley single seat off Steve Piper, who I think is on this forum occasionly.

Beakys are a nice friendly bunch and I enjoy going there.  I also love watching the sun come up as we travel to Dorking, as it is probably the one event we leave home early enough to see it.

I did have a short walk round at Salisbury MAG. Pity I missed Voodoo as it is ages since I have seen him. I had a go at the throwing event but I think the case of beer wasn't likely to be won by me.

Good day though really as weather was good and traffic was pretty good too.  I worked out Rick and I did 219 miles today.

Anyway, tucked up in bed now with flu tabs inside me just in case.  Undecided

Sorry you were not feeling well JJ.
Not so many sellers this year. Linda was happy as I didn't buy anything (not so happy when I suggested a new trike build  Wink )
We were leaving as the Norton & maroon Triumph arrived.
This one looks familiar -

We must be more organised and try and meet up at these events. It would have been nice to say hello to you both.

I was there just after 08.00 and gone by 9.45 so think I missed those of you I know...............

Ended up at the Stock Car meeting in Aldershot with Dslam & brother, a pretty good meeting.

Hearing the sound of around 15 V8-powered F1 Stock cars racing on 1/4 mile oval does the soul good!!  Grin

And if anyone's seen banger racing before, imagine the 1/4 mile oval with 70 bangers going for it!!!! Amazing!
