Thanks Bigdog.
I went in to see the MOT man today and as my 535 is a conversion he says that it does not come under MSVA regs. As for the noise he said that he's not allowed to measure it. I'm still hoping that it will be well within 99Db though. I've bookmarked the page for the MSVA regs for future reference.

I ran a 750 Bonny on just the down pipes for a couple of weeks when I was a teenager cos I thought it sounded cool.
-yeah, I did get pulled over for it.

Well I best make sure everything else is legal then lol.....Ive run every chop Ive had with straight through pipes & as yet not had any problems, then again Ive run more than a few V8's with straight throughs into Cherry Bombs on my Hot Rods Ive had...Once i get the trump all up & how I like it if its way too loud I will get a couple of VW baffles to stick up the pipes, my Z1 chop had 4 straight throughs & loved the sound of that so can only get better on a twin lol.....Voodoo....
