What would be the best way to attach plastic binding tape (like you get on some parcels and you have to cut it with a knife) to a sheet of aluminium?

Superglue does the job but it goes everywhere!  The tape is only 1/4in wide, needs something that doesn't spread so easily but it must be permanent.

This is all connected with a control board forMike's model railway.

evo stick. or any glue of that type. For non porous items you only apply it to one face so put it on the Ali and when it`s tacky put the tape on.

Or you could apply it to both,as it's impact adhesive.
