now, as i'm driving to work i get to do a lot of thinkin' & plannin' and the thought of doin' a trike are beginnin to appeal to me. i,ve seen plenty of trikes but the naggin question that comes to mind is''what is the optimum headstock angle for the front end?''
some folks seem to run um pretty close to original bike spec and some seem to lay them down quite a bit,and i've read in the past that ''a healthy'' rake angle is good for a trike.......so can i have some opinions please guys & galls.

Well I'm doing what I think looks right and it's about 45 degrees but I believe the optimum is 43 but may be wrong?? with standard bike type forks...

yep, to me its gotta look right....... to steep and it looks like youve arse ended some one......too shallow & it dont look like you'l ever turn a corner!!!!
i also had thoughts about leading link front end.....but that could look too heavy but i know they have better handleing characteristics.....cos there a must have for a lot of sidecar types!!!

If my front end had not of worked as well as it has,i would have gone for leading link front end, had them before and set up right there great (power steering on a trike) that's what they feel like, but don't forget the trail is just as important as the rake , more so for handling in my opinion,...... light front end longer rake heavy front end shorter rake
