Just had an email from my brother-in-law Baggie in Nova Scotia, Canada, (East coast), so thought I'd share with you.
Apparently it's minus 20 over there today.

Nope. Life goes on as normal. My sister, Baggie & their son came over for Christmas. They couldn't believe how useless we are at handling the weather.

just had a look at the coldest temp ever in Canada it was -81 with wind chill -93
in 1947 Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked we had -47 in Calgary Cool Cool Cool Cool

our lass gave me one of her special stares when i trudged  gear box oil on the carpet. it was only minus 38 degrees,   guess - 47 n -81 must be bloody cold then.
