Mill Meece Steam Engines in Steam with Stationary Engine Rally
The Mill Meece Pumping Station, Cotes Heath, near Eccleshall, Staffordshire, ST21 6QU

Mill Meece Pumping Station is now leased to the Mill Meece Pumping Station Preservation Trust, who officially took over the station under the auspices of the Severn Trent Water Authority on May 31st 1981.
The aim of the trust is to maintain the pumping station including the two huge steam engines that were used to pump water into the national supply line until December 1979.
Steaming days are held on various dates throughout the year, when you can see the engines working. On display today will also be a selection of stationary engines.
This is not a big show, but if your at a loose end and in the area, drop in and have a look at a piece of history in action.
