Sorry if ths has been mentioned before!...........Im at the point of re-drilling my hubs for 100mm pcd ,and will be fitting new studs .Im presuming due to closeness of holes to edge of hub after shaving off corners for the Nova disc to fit ,12mm dia is the max dia? Im reluctant to go larger !Havent got any studs yet ,but how are you guys getting the splined area of the stud into the new holes? A bit larger hole to accomodate the spline, pull in with the wheel nut, then weld at the rear to hold in?(Done it that way before ,but the hubs had plenty of "meat" round them!) OR Slightly reducing the dia of the spline ? Will probably be getting studs from MR T. Thanks in advance !

I think you covered it all there, yep no bigger than 12mm or you will struggle for room, and as you said, pull through with a nut or tap in with a hammer and secure with weld.

Tartan, fleece lined workshirts, with angle grinder burn holes of at least 4 inch diameter in the front are almost mandatory dress code here.

Back on topic......... Hmmm ...Ive just found that I need a 13mm hole to be able to get the splined part of the 12mm stud in to the hub. Pushing it a bit?

Think I used a 1/2 inch drill for mine, (12 1/2mm). I had some hubs adapted for the front of my Ford Pop by Pop Browns ltd. They were done in exactly the same way, with a bead of weld all around the back of the stud.
