Help a liverpool triker

HELP! my pan euro trike has 4 K&N air filters that i`m pretty sure effecting it running, especially in the cold, for the first couple of miles   it runs ok, then its just like theres no fuel reachin`. I put tape over them, it ran fine for 5-6 miles, then on the M62 i opened it up an` it didn`t wanna know!! they`re really prominent, and theres no tank, not even a dummy one.


Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!!

Fault finding ain't my strong point but there's several on here who should be able to give some help -guys?
