Im contemplating getting another bike soon (after xmas),been thinking about BMW aircooled twin,800cc or above,or big trailie?.Ive owned and worked on/built more than my fair share of brits over the years, getting  bored with jap 4s,i like the smoothness and the power delivery, dont like the rebuild prices or un-necessary complexity of them.Mind you im talking about 80s japs here, never had a modern one ,not interested in them.I did have a Goldwing that i loved a couple of years ago,but it was a real handfull as an every day bike, the next one wont be so maybe thats an option ? I also need something that can handle 2-400 miles comfortably. Can be home maintained, good parts backup e.t.c.Does what im looking for exist,or is it an IDEAL bike?.............any suggestions/advice.I'd be looking to spend £1500-£2000 MAX
