That's pretty damn good
An elderly neighbour decided to buy himself a Jag recently. He rang around for a quote. 3000 quid! Because he's in his 80s he's considered a high risk apparently. He didn't buy the Jag.

My Mum's 86yrs and her insurance is a good price with NFU Mutual, around £200. She even added my 17yrs old niece on at one point about two years ago, when she was learning to drive, and even that wasn't too bad considering. I know her car is only about a 1.2 litres but even so, big difference, though your neighbour might have lots of points against him or something. NFU is worth checking out.

As for your quote Morrag, that's an excellent price. I will have to remember Lynbrook insurance for the future.
