Went to sorting office,,
Got my parcel

When I asked why they just left the cards at the one address and didn't even knock on our doors (there was 4parcels to deliver to three adjacent properties)

The answer I got was ,,very sorry but no parcels were delivered to you particular area  as we had so much mail and only a small van so the parcels never left the depot

Single crewed  small van , it seams they don't even have van buddie,s around here

welcome to the future.

One 1st class took 6 days, the second 1st class still hasn't arrived and neither has the 1st class recorded. The latter two really screwing up important paperwork. I told my lad to pay £6 or whatever and post his guaranteed next day. I wish I'd done the same but usually Christmas post isn't that bad. My Mum received a card that was posted 2nd class and it arrived in 2 days.  Cool

I wasn't really asking you to take it up with your bosses hence the rolled eyes. I know a heck of a lot of post, even with the cost of postage, is in the system at Christmas.  Smiley

As I've said before, my Postie is brilliant and another Postie who has been bringing parcels in a van has also been lovely. When he took off HIS bandana, he had a gorgeous smile.  Cheesy

I ended up paying out twice last year, as I put money in a card for my Postie and then accidentally posted the card with just Postie Paul on the envelope. Wasn't his fault so I wrote out another card with the same again in. Definitely be more careful this year!

Merry Christmas Andy and Baychimp and any other Posties on MMM. It will soon be all over and hopefully you can put your feet up. Kiss
