A Tit masquerading as a Humming Bird then! lovely pic, and a pic requiring a deal of patience to obtain, I'm sure, but no competition from me, I'm the one that always takes the headless photos! Grin Grin Grin.................Morrag

You have outdone yourself. When I opened this thread and saw your pic I at first thought it was a fairy.   Shocked

After I wiped my glasses and made the pic bigger I realised my mistake.  Huh  You definitely would have needed patience for that pic, in fact you would still be at the bottom of the garden!  Cheesy Cool

Sparrows?? I spent time and money feeding and nuturing these birds, spent ages sat in the sun Cheesy to get 8 shots and this is the only un-blurred one ! And all I got was sparrows! gutted Sad

I only wanted the two birds, they were there for ages, and as soon as I decided that may do, a third came and bullied them off the feeder. Great way to get shots though, use a feeder.

I always thought birds were boring, (the feathered kind), until I moved into Tazet's cottage in Surrey a few years ago. We had an amazing variety of wildlife in the garden & once I started watching them, I found the flying visitors absolutely fascinating.

Another belter. It's got a ring on. Must be part of an RSPB study.

Andy, maybe those birds were attracted by all those coke cans of yours. Were they mainly magpies?  Cheesy
