Just a reminder.............

From the Brooklands website   http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/index.php?/events/details/the-1940s-relived/

Join us at Brooklands Museum as we turn back the clock to the decade of fashion, commemoration, style and celebration at our annual 1940s Relived event!
This is a chance to put your hair up, grab your best period outfit and lace up the dance shoes.
Stock up on vintage gear at our extensive vintage market, featuring some of the best vintage sellers around, providing everything from hats, suits and shoes to accessories, books and original memorabilia.
Around the site you will find all the usual Museum exhibits, but you will never know what is around the next corner - you may find the Home Guard on parade or manning the Pill Box, an RAF Fighter Command Control Centre or US airborne troops carrying out demonstrations of infantry weapons and fire power.
If all this activity gets a bit much, head over to the Brooklands Palais de Danse where you will be able to listen to authentic sounds from our specialist vintage DJ, take some dance lessons from the experts or gaze and listen to the warm tones of chanteuse Noelle Vaughn singing live. There will be food and drink and all the usual Museum treasures from the halcyon days of Brooklands.
New for this year is the recreation of the 1948 London Motor Show - SO DON’T MISS IT!
In the afternoon, we will open our Vintage Portrait Studio run by photographer Jason Dodd, a full programme of black and white films from the era while upstairs in the Art Deco Members’ Bar there will be drinks and more music.
Music and entertainment will continue until 8pm.

Unfortunately, it's Beaulieu for me.
