I said Rick ought to take a pic of the Reliant stand and entitle it "Future Trikes".
This racing car was in a big space which was roped off, with a security guard sitting just in side them. I said to him that I thought he had an easy job today and that I was tempted to jump over the ropes and take a run at the car just to give him something to do. Not sure if he found it funny or not!

I loved the Swallow too. So beautiful, inside and out.

The 1916 Chevy (the oldest in the country) which was in the auction, went for £7,200! A bargain I would have thought.
The Willy's went for £15,000.
A lot of the vehicles at the auction went for well below their estimates.
As you can see from Rick's photos, quite a few of the clubs put a lot of effort into their stands.
As you say Andy, it is surprising there are so many classics still about and it makes you wonder where they all disappear to afterwards.

I thought the cars looked better than previous visits and there were plenty of stalls inside but I thought the jumbly outside was disappointing.
Overall, a good day and loads of free car shampoo as a bonus!
