Not so easy to say these days. When I was a teenager, the general rule of thumb for second hand bikes was a pound per cc, so a 750cc bike was worth roughly 750 quid. Now those same rough old runabouts are "classics" with an extra nought tacked on the price.
The last XS750 I bought was probably 15 to 20 years ago, (I've had 3 or 4), & I wouldn't have paid more than 500 quid for it. They were good solid workhorses. Lovely thumpy 3 cylinder motors with shaft drive, so good commuting bikes, but had a reputation for dodgy second gear selection. Those that have survived this long have probably had that fixed though.

Tisn't a classic if it's a non-runner - it's just an old bike!

Even that description is being generous. Until it's running it's just an assemblage of parts, resembling a bike Wink
