'cos you can't convert whitworth unless you've got a lathe / drill / mill / or big kof hammer  ;D ;D

 From the example given on the front page, I see that in 10 acres you get 1,600 Rods. That sounds like one hell of a Car Show!  :D ;D

I've got a CSE in land surveying, (the maths teacher at school was an ex land surveyor so it was on the syllabus).
It was all hectares & chains back then.

Thats a strange mixture,as Hectares are metric and Chains are Imperial.

They're the only units I remember -it was a long time ago!
