A bit morbid I know, but, for future reference, this is where I want my ashes scattered please. So peaceful & tranquil here. Glenfinnan in the Scottish Highlands, at the Northern end of Loch Shiel. The monument on the shoreline marks the spot where Bonny Prince Charlie rallied the Clans to fight the English -& lost. Have sat here at night & watched the moonlight shine across the water while stags bayed to each other in the woods on either side. Magical. Talking of which, when I took this shot I had my back to the stone railway viaduct made famous in the flying car scenes in the Harry Potter film, "Chamber of Secrets". |
