Title: VW pick-up
Post by: Manky Monkey on September 04, 2020, 06:32:01 PM
I saw this in traffic in Basingstoke this morning.
A VW T5 crew cab pick-up.
Never seen one before. Is that a production model or a very tidy custom job?

That’s John from JPL autos custom he did. Made a pretty nice job of it -

It does have quite the airbrushing underneath the rear cover

Not a big modern vw fan, but I like that.
Great work.

Nicely done. Looked like a proper factory job.

Very smart. I'd have thought it was a factory job too.

Aah Wheels Day. Some happy memories of the Rushmoor Arena meets. I was sorting through my T Shirts the other day, as you do, and so many are from Wheels Day, Hotrod Hayride, Victory Wheeler events, Brightona, Ace Cafe etc. It was like looking through a diary.  :)

I've just ordered a Wheels Day 2020 T shirt. They're selling them to raise money for charity.
It amused me to have a commemorative shirt for an event that never happened.
