Title: Hell freezes over
Post by: Manky Monkey on February 02, 2019, 10:45:36 AM
We'll, it's finally happened. The town of Hell in Michigan is currently facing temperatures of around -26c & has actually frozen over.
Maybe that girl in the pub will go out with me now :)

I was up your way again lat week Andy, bought a motorhome from Webbs. Looks like I picked a good weekend for it. Apparently they closed their gates today due to frozen yard surface.
Watch your footing...

Is that on the Winchester Road, parallel to the M3?
Yeah, I'm glad I turned around on Friday & didn't try to push on to Exeter as planned. I was doing a mate a favour, collecting some car parts he'd bought on Ebay, but the A303 was shut just beyond Stonehenge & traffic was being turned back.

You never know. Does that also mean the remaining Eagles will play in concert again?

Didn't know that model so I Googled images for it. Very nice, well fitted out. Doesn't look like any space has been wasted. You will have to let us know how you get on. Is it your first camper?

Nope, years ago I converted a Bedford Cf to a 4 berth, then around 5 years ago bought a Knaus 2 berth locally - still have it, but didn't use it last yr because we have the grandkids. So now the little bugas will have to come with us in the Chausson - they're really excited, I'm not so sure...
