Title: Perforated steel
Post by: Manky Monkey on May 06, 2018, 02:15:07 PM
I was in B & Q today, fighting my way through the Bank Holiday shoppers, when I spotted these.
1mm perforated steel, meant as drip trays for paint rollers, but at 2 quid each, I thought they might come in handy for builders here.

They usually have loads of other types of sheets as well. Always good to keep in mind when making some type of small covers or vents or your builds.

I lodge with a little old lady -I no longer have to spend my weekends in DIY stores & garden centres. :)

Bunnings are very big in Australia.  Much more DIY orientated and not general home products, they tend to appeal to men more than women. They have decided that taking over Homebase was a really bad idea (huge losses) and are trying to find someone to buy them out.

Really? I liked Homebase when it first opened, but then it seemed to lose it's way & became a "lifestyle" shop, selling cushions & pot plants & not much more.

I've never been to Homebase since we were looking for a new kitchen, and a 'salesman' told us they didn't have a price list, if we chose the units we wanted he would tell us the total cost.

Byeeee!
