Title: Refresh button.
Post by: Manky Monkey on September 01, 2005, 11:26:51 AM
I'm sure all you clever computery types already know, but I've only recently discovered the Refresh icon, & I spoke to a workmate this morning who still didn't know about it.
The site's updated a couple of times a week, with new bits being added to various sections all the time. Unless your computer's set to automatically refresh you may not see all these as it will "remember" the site as it was last time you visited, retrieving the files from your hard drive. Clicking the Refresh button occasionally should keep you up to date with everything. I've asked Yodie to add a reminder to that effect on the contents page.

5, in new window (see pic 5) click in the box 'Every visit to the page' (5.1)
6 click 'Ok' (5.2)

Got a feeling I tried that once before & deleted my cookies as well -mmm, cookies.
Lost all my "100% Biker" forum details. Had to log in with another name & email address until they sorted it out for me. I need to paint all the keys different colours then you can just say Press the red one, then the blue one etc. I'm not a very clever Monkey.
