The reason I bought a Morris Minor van :) A classic 70s survivor. Still wearing it's original paint, applied in 1976! I've always loved this van. Even when I used to see it on the streets of Battersea at the Chelsea Cruise back in the late 70s, it stood out as utterly bonkers. Amazingly, after spending many years in storage in an underground carpark in London, & a spell of living in Florida when Brian emigrated there, it's still 90% original & looking great. Brian unfortunately died a few years ago & Havoc now belongs to a guy in Hertfordshire, who has it listed as his company van. I'd love to see it up close again. The paint's crazed & chunks of it have peeled, but the owner's got no intention of repairing it & wiping out it's history. It's a fine line between cool patina & just tatty & rusty :)
