Title: Streetcub
Post by: Clive on June 28, 2017, 12:56:35 PM
So, a month or so ago I picked up this, well-ridden, but well maintained C90 from a very nice man down in Orpington. He had travelled as far as the Orkneys on it.

After some work, I've completed it, and it now looks like this!!! :D :D

Think the semi-auto, 'all down' gearbox will take some getting used to. :D

And, if the 90 struggles to push my 'lithe' frame through the air, it may end up getting a 125, or even a 140cc fitted.

Looks awesome! I've been on the look out for a c50/70/90, but they seem to be going for ridiculous money at the moment.

Can't see the pics.  It says

"3rd party hosting has been temporarily disabled"

Might well be some kind of precaution against this cyber attack that's going on all over the internet?

Nothing to do with me. I've just tried to 're-load' them and it's still showing the same

I've got a honda 90, not astepthrough, but a c200, tank up front job, manual clutch. Not sure if I'll sell it or restore it. Used to be my dads. Whenever my parents used to go out I'd take it for a spin around the local tracks.

This is one I've just been told about - haven't tried it yet myself.

A trip to work and back confirmed my idea that the '90' isn't fast enough to stop me becoming a 'danger to shipping', and the three down gearbox caught me out twice also.

So, a brand new shiny Lifan 125cc semi-auto engine (with four up gearbox) has now been fitted. Goes in with minimal fuss and now I'm just waiting on a front sprocket (different size shaft) and foot pegs (the 125 is slightly wider so the engine case fouls on the footrest).
