Title: GOT MY LIFE BACK !!! Post by: Bus Boy on June 20, 2017, 08:45:10 PM Hi guys, how's it hangin'
Not been keeping up with life in Mankey World for quite some time due to life pressures getting too much! After 32 years in the same employment mending dirty oily buses, with increasing pressure and stress, working as late shift workshop supervisor, working every Saturday evening, increasingly longer shifts ,not getting home from work till 4 in the morning on a regular basis,50 mile round trip commute, etc. etc. Health was really starting to suffer and was at the point of having a breakdown..........something had to give!!!!! I QUIT!! Got me a job locally (3 miles) doing what I was trained to do (and have really missed being able to). I'm now a lowly grunt on the shop floor building lorry bodies. All new clean work, new workshop, great bunch of guys, no weekend work, no Bank holiday work , a week off at Xmas ,no stress, and yes I now HAVE MY LIFE BACK. I am now able to spend time with the family and friends which hasn't been possible in such a relaxed way for at least 20 years!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D SORRY CANT STOP SMILING ;D ;D ;D Sorry for being happy but just had to share it!! Well I've been spending some time in the garage trying to sort out the mess in there and then got side tracked and am now in the process of refurbing an old Portass lathe that I was given about 15 years ago. Might post up some pics when its finished. And Jay Jay , nobody at home knows who the smiley man is in the house !!!
