Title: Custom wheel centres.
Post by: Olds on June 13, 2017, 11:12:10 AM
Recently bought some second hand wheels/tyres for the MX5. (Yes I know it's not a hotrod but someone might find this handy) but one was missing it's wheel centre and the other three weren't much cop. Luckily the Mazda ones fitted but looked wrong being silver while the wheels are black and polished aluminium. Tried painting them black but not much better. Tried highlighting the Mazda logo in silver, but that was a total disaster as my hands shake too much.
So I bought four small chrome Mazda logo badges, machined the existing Mazda emblem off the caps, made fixing slots and once repainted, the new badges were pressed into place.
