Title: Methanol and powder-coating - compatable? Post by: Tony oily bike on April 01, 2017, 09:06:00 AM Anyone aware if, or how, powder-coating is affected by Methanol?
I’m helping out with a drag bike resto, soon be time for ‘paint’, and the owner’s thinking of going down the powder-coating route, but there are concerns as to what would happen if there are Methanol splashes on the coating. Might be a case of getting something small coated and trying it.
