I somehow don't think you will Andy. Not unless she's into mechanics herself and if so it would be her vehicle in the warm, not yours.  ;D

I know a bloke who used to keep a motorcycle in his front room, one that he'd built himself.

He didn't have a significant other though!

Yeah, I've had several mates who parked their bikes indoors. I was at one guy's house, many years ago, when his parents in law walked in to find us cleaning our bikes in the front room in front of the fire. Apparently when they left they told his wife, No way are you getting our house when we go. :)

Oh the stories I can tell ! Luckily my missus doesn't mind me bringing in bits to tinker with if I want,but she's glad I've grown up and rarely do it now ? ::)

now you all know why i am  single , yes i,v has engines on the kitchen table  ::) ::)

I and my then husband gas-flowed the head of our Mk I Cortina on the kitchen table!  Then in a different residence we had to buy a rug for the kitchen floor to disguise the marks where the hot starter ring marked the plastic tiles before we got it fitted to the flywheel - same car!

and now i wish i had a dish washer   like before i became single  ::) ::)  == nothing better for getting  crap and carbon  of rover v8 cylinder heads  ::) ::)
