01264-353646 http://www.valleygasspeedshop.com/ Basically an open night at their workshop, hosted by owners Jimmy & Elloise Hibberd, with a bar, free food, (chilli & beans, obviously), a live band & usually several burlesque dancers, (posh strippers). Also a chance to have a nose around the workshop, buy some merchandise or check out the customer cars. A cool pre-season get-together & as Archie said, this year is pre-bought ticket only with proceeds going to a cancer charity. For those who didn't know him, Scottie was a much loved local character & regular face at socials & drag race meets. I'm glad to have known him as a friend too. A good start to the year's events. They are selling quickly if you are thinking of going.
