Hmm.
I had one a couple of years ago, then more recently a '23, (I think), with a "track T" nose cone. The first one was bought second hand on a whim at the drag races & eventually given away in favour of the Pop. The 2nd was going to be a joint project with Mr Loon. He bought it off me -though I've just remembered, hasn't paid me for it yet. Mr Kapri had the nose cone.
There are several companies still knocking the bodies out. Millers Speed Shop has a mold for the '23, (the more common "T Bucket" shape, without the rear turtle deck). He's on FaceBook -Ifan Miller. Ex forum member Madron is also on FaceBook -Ron Shentall & has molds for all sorts of stuff. Body prices average around 300 quid. As Mr Kapri pointed out when I had mine, it'd be fairly simple to get through BIVA.
No more projects for me, but I'd love to see someone do one -new home for that old Rover V8?  ;)

The last time you were at my old place I paid you! I borrowed the money off my mum so we both remember it!

No, you paid for a bunch of powder coated parts, then a few weeks later we had a conversation about it & I said absolutely no rush for the T money. Still no rush, but I'll have a small pile of modified bike parts to be welded in a couple of weeks. I still haven't seen the new workshop yet -call it quits with that? I'll bring flapjacks :)

Pretty sure Kris Brown did one at some point, weather he sold his moulds when he sold Pop Browns, I don't know.

or I found this while surfin' around, right up your steet, by the looks.   http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C822212

I can do that. I know I gave you two lots of money though, one was your rent back and 40 quid, the other was a hundred in cash. But I can't be arsed to worry about it now.

I've got a feeling Ifan Miller's mold is Kris Brown's old one.

Very nice. Lancashire -that is a long trip from your neck of the woods.
Mr Kapri has a long-term '27 T project in the go so may be able to give you a few pointers.

If you want adice don't try to build a 27t with a V8 , been there tried that , they look pretty awful (I think )with an overstretched wheelbase ESPECIALLY  with a loooong Rover . The 23 T is much better suited to a V8 conversion . To maintain any proportsions the 27 needs a 4 pot. Original wheelbase on both T's is 100" , A goes to 103.5 and B to 106" ( which was the first to use a V8 as standard) .To get a modern twincam into mine I'm at 106" . The Rover V8 is a good 6" longer which is why I didn't use the one I had :)

Ah, thanks for that info. I'm still out foraging and accumulating parts at present. Bodyshell is now secure as is the nosecone. I will hand make the bonnet and side panels. I have a very good looking and going Pinto engine running bike carbs on a project that could become available. Toying with an independent front end set up with inboard shockers, but that is thinking a bit far ahead. I have been offered a kit car chassis from a well known manufacturer, but will probs. end up fabricating my own. Watch this space as they say  ;)
