Title: Re: wings and wheels Post by: Dslam on September 02, 2011, 08:42:53 AM Yep thats the Napier Railton. Didn't they have really evocative names for their cars in the 20's & 30's. It is the outright lap record holder for Brooklands. Photo's never do this car justice. In the flesh it is simply wonderful. Looks 100mph when standing still. The only letdown is it is really quiet. You would expect a huge Napier aero engine to really roar but its wisper quiet, or have I gone deaf in my dotage?
