Title: Sherbourne Castle Classic Cars Post by: Chevy Rick on July 17, 2011, 03:11:56 PM Took a trip down to deep Dorset Sherbourne Castle in the pouring rain, after i arrived the rain eased off and spent the day looking at the cars in overcast conditions, the theme for this year was 100 years of Chevrolet and 50 years of the E-type Jaguar.

One of only a few left in the country, no front brakes and only one rear, and the engine lays underneath the passenger compartment and under the bonnet accomodates the fuel tank. Tony, here is the link to that post of Rick's. Some weird things have happened to some of the original photos. You will know which ones to ignore. Just going by the car pics you can see how the GNs vary. http://www.mankymonkeymotors.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=6452.0 (http://www.mankymonkeymotors.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=6452.0) JJ Title: Re: Sherbourne Castle Classic Cars Post by: Tony oily bike on July 18, 2011, 12:06:59 PM Hi Tony a dozen or so GN's went along the bottom road where I live last year they sound like motorbikes so I gave chase thinking it was bikes I had heard and to my suprise found them stopped up the road having a tea break, they were all different in some way but all had the same power unit, the owners said they were out on a club jolly having visited Beaulieu motor museum in the morning.
