Post by: Tony oily bike on July 16, 2011, 04:56:58 PM Haynes manual for the 1970 -83 models says BS38 for XS1B, XS2, TX650, TX650A, XS650B, X650C, XS650 (UK), XS650D (US), XS650SE (UK) blah blah blah...... in fact every model the manual covers.
I'd kinda go with Cabby's train of thought - mechanical slide carbs - flat if you can find & afford, or round slide Amals (MkI or MkII), or Mikuni VM32 or VM34.
