Post by: kevsky on July 06, 2011, 08:11:02 PM cupla days ago I knocked on a door to try to get in to read an electric meter and was deafened by the sound of a knock knock and when I looked to my left I saw one of these little buggers next to my ear not more than a few inch away from my head
did you know that a woodpeckers tongue is so long that it wraps itself round it's brain so has to act as a damper when it head bangs a tree neither did I til the chap who owned the house gave me a full running account of these birds and showed me 100's of piccs of these and other birds Lost a full days bonus but gained a lifetime of knowledge You can't put a price on that Title: Re: Song thrush?
