That is ooohhh so sexy not really sure about them open belts though might take a tinkering finger off cos we all like to tinker don't we

stoopid thing is I`ve forgotten what desmodromic means, but I do remember it made Ducatis oh so lovely to twist open the throttle on.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Tis Ducati's method of positively opening and positively closing the valves.

Since the valves are mechanically closed, it does away with valve springs and therefore valve-bounce at high revs.
