I know some of you lot are into steam trains and traction engines so here are a few pics from a short break we had last weekend just up the road near loughborough derby way.

they have a big show of this kind,just out side shrewsbury think its in July, like this kind of thing,i remember when i was a kid me uncle who was a blacksmith use to make models of steam engines they use to run on meths i think, might try and get to the show this year

great central railway  ;D the lad that served  his apprenticeship alongside me ( martin ashworth  ,,moley,, ) became their locomotive engineer for a number of years

a lot of work done building the ,,rocket,, replica was done by dorathea restoration engineers ltd,,, the company i served my apprenticeship with
