Title: offset Post by: klogan45 on May 30, 2011, 05:50:50 PM Ok so i'm going to ask a real dumb question. I know what pcd is so no problem there but what is the offset of a wheel?
Thanks Regards K Title: Re: offset Post by: Manky Monkey on May 30, 2011, 05:59:28 PM The distance from the mounting surface in the middle of the wheel, to the outside edge of the rim. For example, deep dished wheels have a lot of offset, compared to most modern wheels which are almost flat fronted, so have very little offset.

so you have a positive or negative offset depending on where hub is place within the wheel ;) Title: Re: offset Post by: klogan45 on June 02, 2011, 09:23:09 AM Thanks Andy and Byz, I get it now.
